I had appointments at Mayo Clinic for four days this week. In between, I drove up to Red Wing. Red Wing is famous for shoe manufacture and pottery. There are also lots of farm products being shipped out of here by rail. The city is located on the Mississippi river. The city is noted for its historic (restored) downtown area.
