I saw this exact same shot in a BA flight magazine 3 months before leaving for Costa Rica and was determined to find the location and shoot the same image.

By sheer chance we ended up staying in the Volcano Observatory Lodge right next to the photo location!!

I added the purple gradient to the sky to replicate the shot in my magazine.
