Scott schmoozed his way with Sheryl Kutun in Personnel to work in Airside Ops as an intern after graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas high school in Plantation. He was really sharp, a real aviation geek and tariffs expert, and we liked him so much that he worked with us every summer while he was attending DePaul University in Chicago. After graduation from DePaul he worked full-time for Peter Reaveley in the Route Development section of the Aviation Department. He was offered a management position with Continental Airlines at their headquarters in Houston and I told him to go for it. He was working for Continental as manager of self-automation (ticket kiosks) the last time I saw him on a trip through Houston. He is now Managing Director of Customer Solutions at United Airlines in Chicago after the Continental/United merger.
