The counter weights on the G11 are a 21 lb bottom - 11 lb middle and 7 lb top. Cable release goes to a Hutech battery eliminator for a totally mechanical setup. No batteries anywhere. A 12" Casady Saddle has replaced the Losmandy stock saddle to support this mass.
