My first Lincoln's Sparrow for Duxbury Beach was found at the edge of one of the thickets on Gurnet Point. It was by itself though in the area were a larger White-throated Sparrow and dozen or so foraging House Sparrows and a couple of Song Sparrows.
I had only a brief look at it but was able to get these two photos which show the various field marks - buffy wash and fine streaks on breast, white belly, gray eyebrow, eye ring, striped crown. The second photo even shows a hint of the crest that is sometimes raises.
