Minolta-16 MG Composite

Mt Pleasant SC

PRESS 'L' for Large on Black

I took the sub-miniature Minolta for a test ride on Sunday. The results are
quite reasonable for a piece of film which is not as big as my thumbnail
(not that my thumbnail would be any better !). Best images are at
about 8 feet, but quite good at infinity and (with the sliding
close-up lens) good to excellent at 18". (See the poster crop). It goes into the cabinet now.
Way too 'fiddly' to develop and scan. :-)) See the Camera Gallery.

Minolta Rokkor 1:2,8 f=20mm lens with 4 elements plus
sliding portraiture element. Manufactured 1966. Speeds 1/30 to 1/250.
Coupled Selinium cell lightmeter, 'match needle' style. Weight 160g / 6 ozs

Minolta-16 MG, Rokkor 1:2,8 ƒ=20mm, Fuji HS-U 16mm BW

I used an acutance developer found on the web - 200ml water + 19 drops of rodinal + 22 drops of HC-100 stock.
Panthermic composition, allowing scalable development from 68F to 85F. This one was 17 min at 72F/22C.

Looks like some interesting images in there. Wish they were taken with a camera more suited to quality size. maybe you have to carry 2 cameras. I like your presentation.
