I'm glad you entered this Brenda. This is my favorite of all your entries. The bird and leaves are very well focused and talk about shadows/shade, they can't get much stronger than these. She is a lovely little female Goldfinch, I'm sure that's what you meant, the males are much brighter yellow with a black patch on their heads and black and white wings.
