This a one of the apr.30.000 "brancheswoman" in Addis Ababa. They are walking betweeen 15 and 30 km.
(10 and 18 mls) seven day's a week, to chop the branches and carry then on the back to there home in Addis and sell them as cookingwood. The weight is between 40 and 60 kg (90 and 130 pounds). This is often the only income for the family's. The Dutch aid organization DORCAS tries through training, schooling and practical help to improve the lives of these women.
