HIDCOTE MANOR

AN UPDATE:

It's been a busy week sorting out the funeral and flowers etc for my relative's funeral on Tuesday 4th September.

Joyce was only 67 years of age and we believe she passed away from a broken heart after her husband went into a care home for the Alzheimer's in February this year. Joyce and Roy were soul mates and devoted to one and another. The home works well for Roy and he had settled in very nicely but Joyce found it more and more difficult to continue being parted from Roy. After a fall where she broke her wrist and fractured some ribs, she went into hospital with breathing difficulties and sadly died suddenly on Friday 24th August. She was surrounded by her family as she quietly slipped away from us....devastating us all...

I hope to be back posting again after the funeral and family have gone back home.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and support.

Wonderful perspective and depth in your photo. I'm so sorry for your loss, I know you and your family are just devasted. I do believe it is possible to die from a broken heart. Poor thing. I'm glad the family was with her.
