MANTEL ROCK FROM THE SOUTH

Smithland Kentucky

This is a rock arch in Western Kentucky and it is the longest arch east of the Rockies at 188 ft.
This is also on the original TRAIL OF TEARS where several thousand Native Americans spent the winter of 1838-1839
and several lost their lives there due to the cold and not much food....
In this area there are several large rocks that have cave like shelters so that is why so many people were here.....

This is close to Smithland Kentucky where the Cumberland River meets the Ohio River

other sizes: small medium large auto
