Welcome home Grendel (Monsieur Chatouille!)

Here is the latest addition to our household, from the local SPCA which places some of their cats in various Petsmart stores. I went in to buy dog food and came home with Chatouille! Well, not quite like that. I saw him, and thought about it for awhile and went back to adopt him. He is about 5 years old, and, so they tell me, a Norwegian Forest Cat maybe with some Maine Coon. He is lovely and affectionate and soon I'll introduce him to the other two cats, Piccolo and Cleo, and to Sasha.

(We gave him the name Grendel after a few days, as it seemed to fit in many respects, what with his supposed Nordic background :-), and his attitude.)

He is gorgeous! Those feet are too dainty compared to a Maine Coon. Lol! Voted.

What a beautiful boy you brought home with you! Our Mandy was a Maine Coon/Norwegian Forest Cat mix too and she was a very sweet cat. I do get homesick looking at your photo but I am so happy for you and your extended family!V!

He's a handsome boy! Have you heard about the cat, mostly likely a Maine Coon, which sparked a 'lion on the loose scare' in Essex, UK?

We visit the cats at PetSmart quite often. I have to say that I wonder if that's really a good idea. I always want to take one home.

I am so happy that M C chose you. He will never be sorry and I'm sure you won't either. What a gorgeous cat AKA Mr. Tickle. Hope the introductions to the rest of the household goes well. Yogi and Blue are fine as long as the distance between them is not less than about six feet.

How good of you to adopt him. He is very handsome. Love the name too.
Our Petsmart places cats. I got Missy from them 11 years ago. I always send them donations. My Simon is going to be leaving this earth soon... maybe this week. I'm so sad. But I know it opens up a spot to give someone else a good home... and that makes it a tiny bit easier.
