Harry came over today to help install the ceiling - or should I say I was helping him. The beadboard comes in 96 x 7" planks and is tongue and groove. To install the planks long ways, we had to first run furring strips. The sheet rock is nailed to furring strips than run long ways, so we couldn't just install the planks right over the sheet rock.
