The Fairmont Banff Springs

Banff Alberta August 2012

The Fairmont Banff Springs , what can I say. First if you want to know the price of the rooms, it's not for you.. I was lucky enough to share a room with a friend. The service is second to none, they are very good at making people happy. The bad part is the resort is very big... Valet Parking is $35.00 per day.. sounds like a lot, but when you come and go it can't be beat... pull up to the door and it is taken care of... your luggage is bought from you room and to your car...there is no tipping on most things... it is included in your 15% bill at the end. The the hotel is old and has a lot of Class. If you go to Banff go there pay the parking out side at $3..per hr and take a look around..it is well worth it...

A quote.
Few hotels in the world rival the majesty, hospitality and grandeur of The Fairmont Banff Springs resort. Styled after a Scottish Baronial Castle, The Fairmont Banff Springs hotel, a National Historical Site of Canada, has been turning moments into memories for our guests for 124 years. The opening of the hotel in 1888 marked the birthplace of tourism in the Canadian Rockies.

Located in the heart of Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Fairmont Banff Springs provides unparalleled options and unique resort experiences to our guests. Onsite resort experiences include: 12 restaurants and lounges, two golf courses, a world class spa, shopping, bowling centre, kid's club and so much more.

Gorgeous setting for this hotel(?). Lovely light and very sharp throughout. V
