Sun Palace

Kalat

Sun Palace is name of a building located in city of Kalat, in a distance of 145 km from Mashad, Iran. The palace was ordered to build by king Nader in about 1823 for residential and treasury purpose. It was originally a 3 story building with approximate height of 25 meters located in middle of large garden. Indian - Mongolian architectural phenomenons are used in the bulding, making it distinctive in Iran.
