Beccles Suffolk

Once a flourishing Saxon riverport, it lies in the Waveney valley and is a popular boating centre. The town was granted its Charter in 1584 by Elizabeth I.

Broads cruisers are a favourite of mine having worked on them for several years, this scene evokes happy memories of boating and is well composed
