These fish were fun, eager biters, and we could have caught all we wanted. But after 20 or so, we decided to head over to a shallow, weedy bay to fish
for northern pike. I had not yet caught a pike, which was the only thing standing between me and catching at least one of all 5 species the area has to offer. We had a
few followers and half-hearted strikes, but no joy on the pike.
