It was raining when we arrived at the Reel Wilderness Adventures camp on Saturday evening. But inside the central yurt was a welcoming gathering spot for meals,
conversation and fly tying. We were told that it had been raining almost non-stop for a month--the rainiest July on record. And the fishing had been tough.
But all that would change. We brought good weather and good luck with us. It never rained significantly again, the wind was dead calm the rest of the week,
and the fishing went on a tear.
