Hello Armando,
I did it! Yes I cut yesterday the back side of my CIBIE repros. Took me a lot of time, but I think I have now the correct angle. The CIBIE fits nicely against the body of the car.
Unfortunately I have an issue with my front bumper (I will have to return it because the fittings are wrongly placed). I wait now the new bumper to modify it for accomodating the CIBIE lights.
I am now quite confident about the success of the mod. I keep you posted.
