IMG_5635 WIC #122 - Landmark Architecture

-This Weekly Challenge: "Landmark Architecture"

The Challenge this week is to submit a photograph of landmark architecture,
that is architecture typical of the place where you live,
perhaps a well known building or a building style typical of your area.
Show us some unique architecture from where you live,
and try to make the image as creative as you can with you composition, perspective, processing, etc.-

The busy intersection of Plumsteadville with its renovated restaurant
after two years of closing and new owner.

"New owner Angelo Evangelista said he’s striving to maintain the character of the Easton Road inn,
which opened in 1751 and served as a stagecoach stop between Philadelphia and Easton.
It was believed to have been in continuous operation until it closed in December 2009. "

I'm happy to hear that it is open again. Would be a shame to lose this landmark.

I imagine it's worth stopping if your image is anything to go by.

Looks like there have been several additions to this building over the year. Love the wraparound porch.

Beautiful and somewhat similar to my local cobblestone structures. Definitely looks like a place that I'd want to stop at and explore.

nicely preserved architecture. I like the stone work and the two story porch.

I would have never known this is a restaurant
but now, if i ever have the chance to go in this area,
i will search for this ;)).
Superbly preserved architecture and a real beauty.
I am sure the food is good...
