context

one final flurry of fireworks, in a wider view to put the location in context...this is English Bay, with the lights of West Vancouver, partially obscured by Stanley Park, across the water...the photos were all taken from Kits Point, one of several spots where many people gathered to watch the show...others took to the sea in their boats for a closer look, and a select few managed to take in the event from small airplanes...the lights of one are visible here, and a case for cloning them out could be made...still the triple flash of it's lights seemed to echo this triple explosion, one of the last of the evening

Looks like you saved the best for last. The smoke, the background lights, the fading light and the context as you titled this make this visually rewarding. "V"

I like that, I think the lights on the shoreline and shape of the hills against the dark blue sky are a perfect backdrop!
