A remarkable complete Cretaceous mantis, about 27 mm long. This is a female individual.

This is a primitive mantis and doesn't fit comfortably into any existing family. Notice the prominent ventrolateral spines on the femur. This is the most spectacular Cretaceous mantis in amber I'm aware of.
