So this plant may be considered a 'weed' of turfgrass in the south, but I consider turfgrass a weed of native plants. This plant is native. Rare in NJ, an S1. The global range is G5. As far as I can tell this plant has not been reported to grow in Mercer County but I found hundreds of plants there one day. Cool!
