Cabbies Protesting the Olympic "Zil Lanes"

Dave thinks they have a point.

From the simplified customs entry to the (often empty) blocks of corporate and celebrity seats to the limo lanes for officials, politicians, and celebrities... the "all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others" quality of some of the decisions made by the London organizers have an Orwellian tone.

Note: The "Zil" was a limousine used by the highest members of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. There were exclusive lanes of traffic for their use, back in the bad old days of "Scientific Socialism".
