OLD MAN

REDLIGHT KING

I am a HUGE Neil Young Fan. In the early summer 2011, Redlight King sampled "Old Man" on the album "Something For The Pain."
It was the first time Young had sanctioned a sample of this song.
I LOVE IT... perhaps even more the Neil's version. Check out the lyrics.

Interesting & cool how they sampled Mr. Young's song! I am not into rap but this at least is more on the melodic side with nice backing music. Great image, sepia works well with this and with the late Ben Keith steel guitar in the background kinda haunting. Excellent!!!

This version isn´t bad, but the original was outstanding, it can´t be compared. I too still have my 'Harvest' LP.

A wonderful shot with these tones and softness. An interesting take on this classic song, but I prefer the original. I bought the LP when it came out and still have it. "V"
