Tuscarora

I went out with the dogs tonight thinking I might see the young opossum that was out a couple of nights ago. The opossum was nowhere to be seen but instead, was replaced by a pair of Southern flying squirrels feeding at the bird feeders. They were amazingly brave, much more so than the usual gray squirrels that are always at the feeders. The southern species is common but the Northern flying squirrel has been placed on the Endangered Species List in PA.
