This is my first attempt at trying to capturing star trails obviously I missed my mark with the North Star..the spot I had originally picked was going to close the gate at 8:00pm so I knew I couldn't go there so I drove to another destination but was told I couldn't go there either due to the road being closed b/c of construction, so I drove down the road some more looking for a dark enough area so I pulled off the road and gave it a try, my first problem is that it was already dark and I couldn't focus like I needed to so I wasn't sure they'd turn out at all. I then realized there were going to be cars passing by all the time I was there but decided to stay and give a try. I also think there was a bit too much light pollution even though it was dark where I was, maybe the cars coming by had something to do with it I don't know, so next time I hope to find a really dark spot and hit my mark the (North Star)...I also don't know how to remove some of the frames...

I know it's not a very good shot ..I know I need to learn a lot more and practice more.
