The bottom loading coil broke in half.
So I did some tinkering. Now it is mounted by a 3/8x24 Stud.
The electronics in the antenna have been removed and I ran the motor wires out and power it with a 9v battery.
I'm going to built a small control box for up front and power it with 5v. With the 9v it moves too fast. Touchy to get the swr just right.

The spring is a Cal AV Mark 5 ( http://www.cal-av.com/springs.html ). Don't have to guy it with this spring.
