The canalized and rearranged zone along the Porsuk River, between the bridges of Atatürk Caddesi and Köprübaşı is called ‘Adalar’ (= the islands). It acts as an open park in the center of town, with broad promenades and tens of sidewalk cafés, bars and restaurants.
