Firetower

At 2153 feet, Pitcher Mountain is small in stature. The panoramic view, however, is incredibly commanding and far reaching, hence the presence of the state owned and operated fire tower.

That does look like a little alien! The clouds are marvelous as the green and gold color in the bottom half of the photo. V

Fantastic skyscape! Interesting to see the firetower too, as around here, they are scarce. Of course, we don't have mountains! But there used to be firetowers in the forests for obvious reasons, but not any longer. V
