The man in the plaid pants is the current owner, Sir Fitzroy Donald MacLean, the 26th chief of the Clan MacLean. The MacLeans first got the castle in 1350. He has to take in tours like ours to pay for the cost of roof repairs, which is astronomical, as it rains almost every day.
