We Need to Hear From PBasers in Ohio, West Virginia and Virginia

New Orleans

Am thinking of our PBasers in Findlay, Ohio, and the one in West Virginia and the one in Virginia Beach etc. The horrific storms that roared through last night did much destruction and left so many without power. Which is a dumb request from me, because if they have no power they have no way of using the Internet.
But, if you can read this, let us know.

Great shot
Being from Louisiana, we know what it's like to lose power for several days from storms.

Been praying and concerned too Coleen. I imagine even the wireless grids are overloaded.

A fantastic shot of this storm moving in. My prayers are going up for those effected by the storms!

Terrible to hear of all the agony and mayhem happening Coleen, we're hearing some of it on our news bulletins! This is an exceptional shot of the ominous looking cloud...

Beautiful photo today and let's say a prayer for all who are victims of storms and fires. V

Thanks for caring, Coleen. WV is doing okay. The death toll is still unknown at this time. And with power still out in a lot of areas and the record breaking temperatures continuing, it will rise. Of course, this was nothing compared to Katrina. I do appreciate your thoughts and know you have survived worse. I lost power but it's back. DSL has been down since and I'm on dial up and way too hard to load photos although I did wait for this dramatic and and beautiful sunset. Those clouds are ominous but the sky and silhouettes are beautiful.

What a truly gorgeous image. The line formed by the clouds leads us to the boat, which is a pleasant surprise! V

http://www.pbase.com/iamwiley/image/144404658 visiting my sister in Louisa Ky the link is an image taken before the storm got out of hand! Shelter was foremost on my mind when the loose leaves started swirling! Western Wv, Wayne, Lincoln and Kanawa counties where hit pretty bad. Most are without power. The fueling stations that have power are running out of gas, and the adjoining areas that have gas are spiking prices. 10 cents per gallon overnight in louisa!
