When I took this photo I was doing a piece on the Bucktown Fishermen, a group that was displaced by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers after Hurricane Katrina and who wandered around until a suitable marina was eventually found for them. To me this was just an ordinary photo of something I have known all of my life.
However, a publisher bought this photo for a Tourism Coffee Table Book of New Orleans and it will have full page status. Goes in all the metro hotels.
And, it was taken with my magic camera, the G5, which I eventually wore out, wannhhhh.
