This is another sniper-type shot where the person I am photographing has no idea I am shooting them. I had my 70-200mm lens at full zoom and was trying to find interesting photos of people to take. NYC is full of so many faces of differing ethnicity, age, social status, etc. Some, obviously life long New Yorkers, while so many others, obviously tourists. I knew that Times Square would be a hotspot for just what I was looking for and I was not let down.

This woman was taking self-portraits, I would assume, for Facebook. She took three different photos and this one seemed to be the keeper. With the others, she looked and then took another. With this one she stayed busy typing on her iPhone for a bit and then smiled as she put her phone back in her purse.
