Ann Mackenzie presenting the Mary Stuart Education Award to Aleta Karstad and Fred Schueler for their many years of dedication to furthering awareness of natural history. In particular, the award recognizes their work in hosting the popular mudpuppy nights in the winter, and their work on developing and maintaining the Nature List, listserv. For those who don't know, Aleta Karstad is a very talented artist who has produced several excellent illustrated books on natural history.
