This is in the olivene ridgeline area, and it is the last place I saw a blaze on a tree. I found water just east of here, and there is good camping on a flat to the north. I saw the most permanent section of the original trail on the red rock in the background, due to the fine rockwork to support the trail across the rockface. There is a helispot on the ridgeline here. There was evidence of fire fighting, stumps, on the snowy ridge in the background. I liked this spot on the DDT most.
