A colleague brought this stunning moth to work to show me. Found in her garage in Ottawa. Released it later on. Cecropia Moth, a member of the silk moth family, it is apparently the largest North American moth with a wingspan of 4-5 inches.
Enough inspiration to take moths far more seriously!
