On This Rock

West Virginia

Tech notes: Mamiya RB67 with 65mm lens. Kodak TMAX 400. Developed in Kodak TMAX developer, 7 minutes at 70F. What else is new. Hey, if it works, it works. This is not the recommended Kodak development time but this seems to give me better results. Especially when I get the exposure right which is always kind of iffy.

It really did give you wonderful results. The tones are superb. Love the composition and the feeling of the stone and its 'babies' providing solid, but precarious support to the structure above. It creates a certain tension. V

Love the tones. What an interesting stone support for this old place. And that looks to be Insulbrick siding. Don't see much of that anymore, they quit making it in about 1960. I remember how they would use Insulbrick to cover up the clapboard houses back before there was aluminum or vinyl siding. Brings back memories... LOL V
