By 4pm I was back where I earlier shot the female Grosbeak, and apparently re-found the male, now in better light. This is probably one of my better Blue Grosbeak images. Deep blue is also a relatively difficult color to photograph, in particular Grosbeaks and Buntings. Flash ruins it, yet they rarely seem to show themselves to me in good light.
