I know the feeling. This bird was my nemesis for awhile but once you get one, you'll suddenly find them more frequently. Now go find that Ivory-billed Woodpecker :-)

Similar thing happened to me! Travelled around Scotland trying to photograph a Great Spotted Woodpecker then found two on the tree outside my kitchen window!
