Hiking along a rail-trail, I noticed a couple of tulips, looking remarkably exotic next to the ferns, and wildflowers! I guess someone at some point dumped some garden waste at this site because in addition to the tulips I spied a few other garden plants. This one was almost ready to let the petals drop!
