If I counted right, there were 10 bird feeders around the decks & yards; several of which were hummingbird feeders. Hummingbirds are my FAVORITE type bird! We FREQUENTLY had a "hummer" fly and hover just outside this glass patio door. I kept trying to capture pictures of him from inside the house but finally gave up because although we could see him clearly, in the photos he got "lost" in the green background of the hillside trees outside. Because "hummer" gave me/(us) so much pleasure in watching and listening to him, I kept about half of the total photos I ended up with him in them. This starts the first of those.
