We headed out on a road trip this morning. Chattanooga for three days and a long weekend in Atlanta to visit the new grand son. When we travel by car, we always stop at the welcome and information centers. This time we stopped a new one on the Atchafalaya Basin. As with most of them throughout the South, they are very nice facilities. This one had a nice lake and picnic pavillions. The was the first time out with our new Honda Odyssey van, and we were very happy with the comfort and performance. Unlike John's urban assault vehicle (which is very well appointed) I can actually read the PRNDL on the side of the gear shift lever. This van was designed and built in the US (well, 70% of it) for the US market. I think John's van was built in Germany for the British market. Small details like positioning of PRNDL seems to have escaped them.
