Post office Telephones

The national telephone kiosk collection opened at Avoncroft in 1994 with the aid of British Telecom.
It includes examples of every type of G.P.O and BT telephone kiosk from the 1920s to the present day. All are connected to 2 telephone exchanges and visitors can call each other in kiosks on site.

ah, those were the days & if the phone business hadn't been rudely robbed from the post office, we might still have a full post office service
