Spring time in the Smokies paints the mountains in a patchwork of colors ranging from the bright yellows and the fisted russets of newly emerging leaves to the greens of the early bloomers and the darker shades of the evergreens. Not as colorful as the autumn pallet but just as varied and surprisingly beautiful.
