White-footed Mouse

There has been a party going on in the ceiling above my bedroom every night for months and after too many sleepless nights listening to it I decided it was time to kick out the "party animals". I thought I was going to catch the little gray House Mouse that I've caught around here before, but no, it was one of these larger Peromyscus mice. I released him far from the house and caught this photo before he scurried off.

Great capture (both times). Usually takes more than one for a party though... :-(

Great shot Chris. ....but are you sure this was the only party animal in the ceiling? ;)

He is so beautiful! A really terrific shot and in lovely light too. Whenever I release them outside, they scuttle off at top speed, no time for photos! V
