Daisy 777 with Tasco scope

This is my latest acquisition. The Daisy 777 was designed for entry level 10 meter competition. It is a single-pump pneumatic pistol. The 747s and 777s have the German Lothar-Walther barrels. These are always desirable.

I decided to put a scope on it, and in two evenings built the mount out of a block of aluminum. The scope is a Tasco Pro-Class 4X pistol scope. The objective lens is 30 mm, and has an adjustable objective lens. They are no longer in production but occasionally you can find them on ebay.

Adding this scope takes it out of the "one hand" category as the combined weight is too much to support. It shoots about .250" groups at 10 meters. I really haven't tried to refine the pellet selection so it should do better in the near future.

The velocity is a little low at 325 fps., so I'm going to rebuild it with new seals and valves.
