Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris - acwalbur

I took this photo on "lambing day", when most of the baby lambs in this flock were born. It makes me a little sad that most of the lambs are grown for slaughter. The pregnant ewes are very peaceful, in spite of a lot of commotion around them.

having recently returned from Scotland,,it was the beginning of the lamb season and to see all those (many time twin lambs) with their moms was quite a site. I like the wide angle with that sheep up front

They do look relaxed (maybe the one at far left is expressing her opinion but the others are mute). An unusual selection - I like this a lot. The ewes appear to have been recently sheared(?).
