At the top colour

Woodchester Mansion is a 19th Century Victorian Gothic Masterpiece mysteriously abandoned mid-construction in 1873. Hidden in a secluded Cotswold valley, it is untouched by time and the modern world. This Grade 1 Listed Building has been saved from dereliction, but will never be completed.

Taken on a mini pbase meet at Woddchester Mansion.

An excellent slow exposure, really shows up the roof details. V

hey, you've out-angled John! It does give length to the corridor. It also brings out a feature of the house I had noticed elsewhere, ie that they used stone arches right up to the top where most designers would have gone to timber....no wonder there wasn't enough money to finish

I thought I had seen this hall before, and now I realize John Reynolds also photographed it. Quite lovely with the repeating forms and excellent light. Textures are quite striking as well. V.

I really like he way those ceiling struts are highlighted. They make great lines.
