This is a statue of Apollo Kithadoros (The Lyre player), Roman, second century AD, found in Perge in 1980-1 in the Gallery of Claudius Peison (to whom it is dedicated) at the South Bath.

One day Apollo's flock was stolen by Hermes, who had invented a lyre. When found, Apollo let Hermes keep the sheep in exchange for the lyre. On it Apollo played so beautifully, the Gods who heard it forgot all else.
It was found in 38 fragments, after some more finds were made the current reconstruction could be made.
I took some pictures of the lyre as a detail.
