Fort Moultrie Underground pt/pd

Charleston SC

I'd like to be able to say I meant for this effect, however, that is not the case.
This is a 'boo-boo', plain and simple, but I more or less like the look. So here it is.
I cropped most of the brush marks - the viewer has enough to deal with just looking at the image. :-)

Back to the drawing board. (Actually, the digital negative was printed with the wrong ink,
and 'paper selection'- I didn't pick up the error until I'd spent over an hour in the darkroom.)
Sigh. :-))

5"x5" Platinum Palladium print on Arches Platine, coating the
paper 10:9:1 (Ferric Oxolate/Sodium Palladium/Sodium Chloroplatinate),
humidity at 65%, exposed 13'30".

The 'parent negative' is 2¼ square, and the enlargement here to 5x5 is negligible.

other sizes: small medium original auto

You effort was not in vain. It is "made by hand" with all the skill and frailties of a human endeavor. I have seen your lovely photos of Fort Moultrie and this one can proudly stand with those.
I didn't intend to get so carried away but I'm glad i did.

No worries, Kid.
You win some, you lose some.
What's an hour between friends.
I like it.
